Lausitzer Findlingspark Nochten
An experience for the whole family! The Nochten Boulder Park has been attracting thousands of visitors a year to Lausitz in Saxony from opening in 2003. A park landscape that is unique in Europe has been created here from 7,000 glacial erratics and 100,000 plants.
On the 20 hectare site, visitors can explore seven park areas: The stone garden, pond garden, heath garden, heath moor, forest lake, rock garden and Little Scandinavia. The "Feldzeichen" artwork stands proudly on the highest peak: From here, there is a fantastic view across the Lausitz region. Slightly hidden away in a valley cutting in the park, lies "Die Wüste" (The Desert), a carefully created adventure playground with boulders to climb on, the labyrinth in the Caravanserai and an aquatic playground around the bucket well.
The park experience across bridges and hills, past streams and water cascades, through stone gardens and the heath landscape begins and ends at the modern visitor centre. Visitors can explore the "Icy, massive, exciting. Ice Age Adventure". In addition to guided tours of the park, circular trips are also offered. Visitors can bring their park experience to a relaxing end in the snack bar.
