Cristalica Kingdom - Glass Pyramid in Döbern

The unparalleled 17 metres tall glass pyramid of Cristalica Kingdom in Döbern is a real shoppers’ paradise and the world’s biggest retail store in a glass pyramid. On 2,000 square metres of space, visitors can admire finished unique items made of glass and more than 10,000 exclusive glass creations. These products are made locally, as well as by national and international glass designers and artists. To round off the Cristalica Kingdom shopping experience, there are cosy and stylish seating areas and visitors can enjoy a range of snacks and drinks.
The iconic glass pyramid is a landmark on Döbern’s main road. It is an appealing sight, enjoyed by tourists passing through, coach passengers and all those who have booked a glass-making workshop at the glassworks. The pyramid also represents the eventful history of the local glass-making industry and traditional crafts and the modernisation of the entire production. Mass production has been replaced with single piece production of glass items, and various other hand-made things are also produced here nowadays.
