“Zur Mühle” Restaurant in Dörrwalde
With new ideas and great attention to detail, the Dörrwalder Mühle has been converted into an event restaurant with historic mill flair. Built in 1845, the Dutch windmill in Dörrwalde is a landmark in the Lusatian Lakeland. Rare in Lower Lusatia, the tower Dutch windmill stretches its larch wood windmill wings into the sky and attracts cyclists and others to Dörrwalde for an excursion into mill history along the five regional cycle paths.
The mill granary and the event pavilion are unique venues for weddings, parties and celebrations in a charming historical setting. Dörrwalde Mill even has its own registry office and the owner can also assist you as a wedding planner.
Three guest rooms and the mill suite invite you to linger and relax.
In the mill restaurant and the cosy barrier-free conservatory, guests are spoiled with the best the region has to offer. Savour creative regional cuisine. The high quality standards characterise the seasonal fresh cuisine. All dishes are always prepared using fresh produce.
Extras: guided tour of the mill possible by prior arrangement, varied programme of events with concerts, readings, comedy including a multi-course menu
